Statement
The process of creation is exiting as well as satisfying. I compartmentalize the process as follows. Absorption, transformation, creation, dissemination. Works of art are created with traditional, technical, and industrial material applications. Compounding multiple mediums, elements, and layers for the final result.
BIO
Robert Iannicelli was born in the late 70's in Brooklyn, New York and has continued to reside in the borough through out his life. During the adolescent phases of his development he attended numerous classes at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and Pratt Institute. He later continued his fine art academic education at Fiorello H Laguardia High School of Music and Art. He would frequent night time drawing classes at The Fashion Institute of Technology College in New York City when he was available to pursuit and refine his abilities.
Exhibits include the Flash Presentation at the New York Armory Show, NY, NY, the Color Elephante Gallery in Velencia Spain, The Broadway Gallery NY NY. the Queens Museum of Art in New York City. He was most recently interviewed about his passion for art and life work at the Hauser and Wirth Gallery NY in partnership with Story Corps for an interesting conversation which is publicly available.
